As the English Profile network grows, there are more and more conferences and other events at which English Profile is a featured topic. We are developing a dedicated 'events' page for this site; but in the meantime, we will provide weekly updates to this article, which will now include an 'upcoming events' list and a 'recent events' list. We hope you like these changes and become a frequent visitor to this page. As ever, if you have any comments or suggestions for this or any other page, please contact us.

We are delighted to announce the details for the next event in the English Profile Network Seminar Series. On October 22-23, 2010, delegates will meet in Madrid at the Colegio Oficial de Doctores y Licenciados en Filosofia y Letras y en Ciencas. The event is being hosted by JoAnne Neff and her team from Madrid's University of Complutense. This event will differ from previous seminars in that the talks will have a more pedagogic bias, rather than being mainly an opportunity for English Profile researchers to present and discuss their latest findings. This event will be aimed at informing the teaching community, and will place greater emphasis on the practical applications of English Profile findings. |
